I combined this piece with the double open storage one since they’re the same height & depth in order to use them as a bench shelf to house our math & language arts learning resources right under the chalkboard in our homeschool room space.I use the bin that comes with the shelf to store our large felt sheets.Love the wide shelf space in this unit which accommodates our montessori movable alphabet & other wide learning trays.I keep our manipulatives in jars on top, but the paper storage unit from this same Guidecraft Martha Stewart Craft set OR the Guidecraft light tablet also fits perfectly on the top surface.
