This book is so incredibly sweet and helpful for kids to learn about cancer. There have been several instances of cancer in my family and my kindergarten-age daughter has had a lot of questions. I love how gentle and compassionate this book is. Children don’t have a lot of experiences seeing or hearing about things like cancer or disabilities, or seeing a woman who doesn’t have hair. I think it was so sweet to get to see a real picture of the real Mrs. Davis too at the end of the book! I’m recommending this book to all my friends with young children especially. I highly recommend it!
