At first I was going to return this; but actually it's my favourite lead for my whippet now. Its well worth the £3+/-,its light and very strong, flat so it doesn't cut your fingers if they pull suddenly, and it allows for a bit of freedom for the dog whilst also changing to a short lead when needed. I've got two now,I link them together to give her a bit more freedom when off-lead isn't able to happen at various places. I only wish it had a proper handle, but I use a small black collar clipped on instead. Also works very well as a tether clipped to a hook outside.I bought this for my 5kg Pomeranian. I bought the lighter one but wasn't sure if it was strong enough so bought this one it's touch and go if it's too heavy but better safe than sorry. I feel he's safe on this. good price too. good choice of coloursLove this lead, very functional.The small size is great, but be careful as some sharp edges.Ordered a second one in the medium and this comes with much bigger metal clips which are also much heavier. Great for a larger dog, but not for my puppy! Was refunded.Love this lead! Got it for my new rescue pup.. and the fact it adjusts to 3 different lengths has been great for training purposes. Her lead training improved almost immediately on using this. Good quality nylon and components.. has no signs of wear despite being dragged around the park a few times! My dog seems much happier on this lead, which gives a little more length/freedom before I introduce her to a long line recall lead. Got this for an amazing price too... all that was different was the colour!Can’t recommend this lead it for a small rip after 2 days and split completely within a week. We have a not very strong or chewy lab but this was far to weak.
