I typically don't write reviews, but a review is necessary in this case. This is not a real tourniquet. I was aware of this when I bought it. I buy lower quality tourniquets for training purposes (i.e., EMT course, first aid courses, wilderness medicine courses). These tourniquets are extremely poor quality and are not even fit for training. The fabric that holds the windlass (stick) is very thin and tears after for 3-4 turns of the windlass rendering the tourniquet useless.If you are looking for a tourniquet you should not be buying them on Amazon. Buy them from a medical supply company. If you are looking for tourniquet trainers, look elsewhere. Buying this product is winding up costing me more because I am now having to replace them after one use in class. They tear that easily.
